- 1024 x 600 resolution for the display

HTC Flyer Price
The announcement of the Flyer is not the same as the launch of the Flyer; the Flyer has not yet been priced, and the operating system is not yet completed.
CrunchGear has reported that the Flyer has been priced at €669 at Amazon.de, the German Amazon website. What the Flyer price in the US will be is hard to tell, however a comparison of the prices of both the Galaxy Tab and the HTC Desire suggests that the price would be ~$800*. This is a very high price, however, so let’s wait and see what the cost of the Flyer will be in the US.
*Price in USD/ Price in Euros = 1.2; 669 * 1.2 = $806
HTC Flyer Reviews
Boy oh boy, HTC is entering the tablet arena with quite a bang. The company has just taken the wraps off its brand new 7-inch Flyer Android tablet, which touts a 1.5GHz single-core CPU, 1GB of RAM plus 32GB of flash storage, an aluminum unibody construction, 1024 x 600 resolution, a tablet-optimized version of Sense, and… what’s this, a pressure-sensitive stylus!
Engadget
Like every other 7-inch Android tablet, HTC’s Flyer is essentially a very big phone. It even looks slightly phonier than the rest. But it might be the nicest oversized phone-tablet yet.
Gizmodo
Overall, I have mixed feelings about the Flyer. Is there room for a Gingerbread tablet at all, in a world of Honeycomb?….As always, price and performance will play a big role in the success of HTC’s first tablet.
PC Mag
Overall, we’re mostly impressed with the HTC Flyer – the new version of HTC Sense with dual-pane windows for things like video, contacts and mail looked like it worked well when it all flashed past our eyes.

HTC Flyer Videos
The videos show the Sense UI layer on top of Android 2.4 Gingerbread. The code apparently is not finalized; the interface will be smoother on launch.
